I hope through our yoga and meditation we can support ourselves and each other to be in our compassion and kindness in very real ways, and to stay connected which we all need now more than ever.
We are practising physical distancing and various degrees of isolation but that does not mean that a single one of us has to feel isolated or alone - so, see you at yoga!
What you need to do:
1. Download ZOOM to your computer / ipad/ phone etc. | go to www.zoom.com
it’s free and it won’t hurt your device :)
2. each week I will send you a link for that weeks class - click on it to join class (aim to join in about 5-10 mins before)
3. Set yourself up with a spot to practice - use a towel or rug if you don't have a mat, a cover for relaxation and a firm pillow/folded blanket or towel to sit on.
Let other people in the house know what you are up to so they don’t interrupt you :)
These days I use the rug more than a mat!
4. Set up your phone/ipad/computer so you can see the screen, and if you leave your video on (I will love it if you do, so I don't feel lonely!) make sure you are on screen, and visible - on an angle is really good for me to see you in a variety of postures.
You will be on the floor a lot, both sitting and lying down, with occassional standing.
You will be automatically muted when you sign in, but I will turn your microphones on for greetings and so on.
You will be able to use the chat box if you need in between, and we will open up at the end to say ‘goodbye’ and ask any questions etc.
